The story quickly grabbed my attention earlier today: Philadelphia Eagles team doctors have found a blood clot in Jalen Hurts’ leg- he will now be sidelined until the issue is resolved.

The former Bama and Oklahoma star sought treatment on his calf on October 8th.
Following an ultrasound, doctors found a superficial blood clot- that is a clot that appears in the veins closest to the skin.
Jalen was cleared to play in London, and when the team returned to Philly, doctors did a follow up ultrasound.
That’s when they discovered something concerning:
The blood clot had moved a smidge.
No doubt, blood clots are dangerous.
If they move to the heart or lungs or brain they can be life threatening.
That’s why Jalen is being sidelined.
Could Jalen have developed the blood clot on his long flight to London?
That’s a question doctors are seeking to answer.
