When Taylor Swift first entered Travis Kelce’s football world, she apparently had plenty to learn.

Three years later, the Kansas City Chiefs star says he is still amazed by just how far she has come.

During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce opened up about Taylor’s evolution from someone who had very little understanding of football into someone who can now recognize some of the game’s finer details. The conversation offered another glimpse into how seriously Swift approached learning the sport that had suddenly become a major part of her life.

And one particular detail had Kelce remembering just how different things were when their relationship began.

From “Guys Punching Each Other” to Learning the Rules
According to Kelce, Swift’s early understanding of football was extremely limited.

The singer had spent most of her adult life immersed in music, songwriting and performing rather than the intricacies of the NFL. When she first became involved in Kelce’s world, football was essentially unfamiliar territory.

Kelce recalled an early conversation that revealed just how much she didn’t know about the game.

The description was funny rather than critical. Swift was simply trying to understand what she was watching.
