Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially adopted a child — the first milestone in the couple’s journey to build a family through adoption, exactly as Taylor once told Travis before they said “I do.”

The news broke this week after the couple’s private ceremony at the Hope Valley Adoption Center, where the pair were officially recognized as legal parents of two young girls: Beby Hastings and Cody Hastings (new names given to the children by the Department of Child Welfare).
