W obecnej kadencji został wybrany z listy Radomskiego Paktu Samorządowego Radosława Witkowskiego i był jedynym przedstawicielem Nowej Lewicy w radzie po pięcioletniej nieobecności partii. Jako najstarszy radny otwierał pierwszą sesję nowej kadencji, wykazując się doświadczeniem i znajomością procedur samorządowych.
