😢🔥 PATRICK MAHOMES AND THE CHILDHOOD PAIN NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT! “I play with a fire inside me — a lot of fire. Fire because my parents divorced when I was little, and my mom carried everything alone. Fire because there were times I wanted to quit football, thinking I wasn’t good enough. Fire because people looked at me with doubt when I chose football over baseball like my dad. When I was a kid, I threw the ball so hard I broke a teammate’s glasses. I didn’t know I was different, but I knew I had to prove myself. This isn’t just football. It’s how I get revenge for the nights my mom stayed up working, for the prejudice, and for every doubt. Every game I’ve ever played has felt like the Super Bowl of my life.” See details in the comments 👇

Patrick Mahomes is now one of the most recognizable quarterbacks in professional football, but long before the Super Bowls, MVP awards and Kansas City Chiefs championships, he was simply a talented kid growing up around sports in East Texas.
His childhood was surrounded by baseball.
His father, Pat Mahomes Sr., spent more than a decade pitching in Major League Baseball.
Patrick grew up visiting ballparks, watching professional players and absorbing the details of the game from an unusually young age.
But baseball was never the only sport that fascinated him.
Football, basketball, baseball and other sports all became part of Patrick’s childhood.
His athletic ability was obvious early, although even his family initially expected baseball to become his professional path.
One of the most remarkable stories from those early years happened when Mahomes was only a young child playing baseball.
During a T-ball practice, Mahomes fielded a ground ball at shortstop and fired the ball toward first base.
The throw was so powerful that it struck the first baseman in the face and broke the boy’s glasses.
