On Sept. 1, 2026, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was announced as the star of Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign. In the campaign video, Kelce arrives at New York’s iconic The Plaza Hotel and greets a few familiar A-list faces before heading to his room to relax with an adorable, fluffy white dog. According to Forbes, the pup is Kelce and Swift’s real-life dog—a Samoyed named Wendy.

In an interview with Vogue published the same day, the NFL superstar gushed about Wendy. When the interviewer called her “beautiful,” Kelce replied, “Are you kidding me? She lights up my day.” He also revealed that, when the Tommy Hilfiger team was casting a dog, he suggested Wendy. “We figured, why not her? She crushed it, and actually really fit into that Tommy aesthetic, too,” Kelce said, adding, “Those are some of my favorite shots.”

Kelce’s confirmation comes after fans noticed a framed photo from his and Swift’s wedding showing the couple holding a fluffy white puppy. Just days later, Kelce was photographed traveling with the same dog, and online sleuths quickly connected the pup to an April 2026 video clip of a similar dog jumping into one of Swift’s cars.

Wendy now joins Swift’s famous trio of cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.

The revelation also comes amid reports that Swift feels “frustrated” in her marriage to Kelce. Since their high-profile wedding and brief honeymoon, the newlyweds haven’t spent much time together.

“She is frustrated because football is taking up so much of his time – he works overtime – causing them to not see each other a ton, and she would like more,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “Travis being in training camp has meant she has had to go out alone. They do not see each other every single day, but they see each other every single week – they are very dedicated to that.”
